Tree work in Anaconda
Anaconda is a short drive west of Butte, and it is one of the towns we serve. Removals, pruning, stump grinding and storm cleanup are all available here, handled by a crew led by owner and ISA Certified Arborist Jeremiah Roberts. Hazard trees, overgrown shade trees and stumps left from an old removal are all jobs we take on.

Local conditions
Old trees in a smelter town
Anaconda grew up around the copper smelter, and the Washoe stack still stands over the valley. A lot of the houses in town date from those early decades, and the yards that came with them hold shade trees that have had a very long time to get big. Old cottonwoods and willows in particular get brittle with age and can drop heavy limbs with little warning.
The Anaconda Range rises right behind town, and snow and wind put real weight on limbs through the winter. If a tree is leaning, cracked or hanging over the house, we can assess it and take it down safely before it turns into an emergency. When it is down, we grind the stump and leave the spot ready to use.

Anaconda questions
Do you serve Anaconda?
Yes. Anaconda is one of the towns we serve from our base in Butte. Call or text (406) 490-0449 and tell us where the property is.
An old cottonwood is dropping limbs in my yard. What should I do?
Keep people and cars out from under it and give us a call. Jeremiah will look at the tree, tell you whether pruning can make it safe or whether it should come down, and give you a free estimate.
Do you grind the stump after a removal?
Yes. We grind stumps below grade and clear the surface roots, then rake out the grindings so the spot is ready to seed, sod or replant.
Got a tree in Anaconda that needs work?
